TWO GREYISH-GREEN JADE ARCHAISTIC BIRD-FORM VESSELS
LATE QING DYNASTY-EARLY 20TH CENTURY
Each mythical bird is shown with head facing forward with two dragon-form wings terminating in upswept curls on each side and ridge on the back. The stone is of pale greyish-green tone with some areas of opaque brown mottling.
5 ¾ and 5 ¼ in. (14.6 and 13.3 cm.) high
