TWO WHITE JADE PLAQUES
QING DYNASTY (1644-1911)
The first white jade plaque is carved with dragons on top and bottom in openwork with archaistic patterns in the middle on both sides. The second white jade plaque is carved with a scholar in garden scene on one side; the other side is inscribed with seven characters zhang li sui bu guo cun nan, following by two seals wen wan. Together with a hardstone plaque, Qing dynasty, carved with a mythical beast on one side and inscribed with shou tian bai lu (longevity and good fortune) on the other side.
2 3/8 in. 2 ¼ in. and 2 1/8 in. ( 6 cm, 5.7 cm. and 5.4 cm.) long
