Good overall condition. Scattered small scratches and dents, one dent more important to the proper left front corner. The lid slightly bent. Light wear and oxidizing to the gilding. Small losses to the gilding at some places. Small chips to the mirror along the edges, one chip more prominent along approximately 1 x 0.3 cm. (³⁄₈ x ¹⁄₈ in.) to the upper proper left corner. Light wear and foxing to the slivering of the mirror. All consistent with age and use. An iconic piece by Line Vautrin ready to be displayed.
