The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Quelques très légères traces de frottement et de manipulation sont principalement dans la marge blanche. Présence de quelques accrétions par endroits sur la surface. Présence de réseaux de craquelures de séchage stables principalement dans les parties noires. Examinée à la lumière UV: pas de repeint apparent. Sous réserve de ce qui précède, selon notre opinion, l’œuvre est en bon état général de conservation.

This work is sold framed. The work is not lined. The surface is very slightly dusty. A few minor rubbing and handling marks are mostly to the white margin. There are a few accretions in places to the surface. There are nets of stable drying cracks mostly to the black areas. Examined under UV light: no visible inpainting. Subject to the foregoing, it is our view that the work appears to be in overall good condition.
