The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Cette œuvre est vendue encadrée. Le papier est collé au revers à un panneau par des points de colle. Les bords sont légèrement irréguliers. La surface est très légèrement poussiéreuse. La feuille présente une très légère ondulation. Quelques accrétions sont par endroits sur la surface. Quelques très légers lustrages inhérents à la méthode de travail de l'artiste sont par endroits, uniquement visibles en lumière rasante. Une très fine cassure du papier est dans la partie inférieure. Sous réserve de ce qui précède, selon notre opinion, l’œuvre est en bon état général de conservation.

This work is sold framed. The paper is fixed on the reverse to a panel with points of glue. The edges are slightly irregular. The surface is very slightly dusty. The sheet undulates very slightly. A few accretions are in places to the surface. A few very slight lustrings which are inherent to the artist's working method are in places, only visible under raking light. A very slight paper crease is to the lower part. Subject to the foregoing, it is our view that the work appears to be in overall good condition.
