The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Cette œuvre est vendue encadrée. La feuille est fixée au revers à un support cartonné par des charnières dans les angles. Les bords latéraux sont très légèrement irréguliers. La feuille présente une très légère ondulation et a légèrement jauni, principalement le long des bords. L’angle inférieur gauche présente une très légère trace de pliure. Quelques réseaux de fines craquelures de séchage sont visibles par endroits, principalement dans les empâtements plus épais. Une légère trace de pliure verticale est vers le bord supérieur au centre. Présence d'une accrétion en liège dans la partie gauche et une petite zone d'enfoncement au centre, qui sont probablement inhérents à la méthode de travail de l'artiste. Présence de points de piqûre, principalement dans la partie droite. Sous réserve de ce qui précède, selon notre opinion, l’œuvre est en bon état général de conservation.

This work is sold framed. The sheet is hinged on the reverse to a cardboard support to the corners. The lateral edges are very slightly irregular. The sheet undulates very slightly and has slightly yellowed, mostly along the edges. There is a very slight folding mark to the lower left corner. A few nets of hairline drying cracks are visible in places, mostly to the thicker impastos. A slight vertical folding mark is towards the upper edge to the center. There is a cork accretion to the left part, and a small area of indenting to the center, which are most probably inherent to the artist's working method. There are points of foxing, mostly to the right part. Subject to the foregoing, it is our view that the work appears to be in overall good condition.
