The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Les œuvres sont vendues encadrées. Les feuilles sont fixées au revers à des supports cartonnés par des charnières le long des bords. Les feuilles présentent une très légère ondulation, inhérente à l'aquarelle. Quelques petits points d'accrétion et poussières superficielles sont par endroits sur les surfaces. Sous réserve de ce qui précède, selon notre opinion, les œuvres sont en bon état général de conservation.

These works are sold framed. The sheets are hinged on the reverse to cardboard supports along the edges. The sheets undulates very slightly, which is inherent to the watercolour. A few pinpoint accretions and superficial dust are in places to the surface. Subject to the foregoing, it is our view that the works appear to be in overall good condition.
