The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Les très légères traces de pliure et cassures du papier sont inhérentes au marouflage de l'artiste. Examinée à la lumière UV: pas de repeint apparent. Sous réserve de ce qui précède, selon notre opinion, l’œuvre est en bon état général de conservation.

This work is sold framed. The work is not lined. A kraft adhesive paper runs along the edges. A few superficial accretions are in places to the surface. The very slight folding marks and paper creases are inherent to the artist's lining. Examined under UV light: no visible inpainting. Subject to the foregoing, it is our view that the work appears to be in overall good condition.
