The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Cette œuvre est vendue sans cadre. L'œuvre est sur sa toile d'origine. La toile présente une très légère ondulation et de très légères traces du châssis en périphérie. Quelques très fines craquelures de séchage sont par endroits le long des arêtes et dans la partie inférieure de la composition, uniquement visibles à la lumière rasante. Un petit point d'enfoncement de la toile par l'avant est dans le quart supérieur gauche. Quelques points d'accrétions sont par endroits sur la surface, uniquement visibles en lumière rasante. Examinée à la lumiere UV: pas de repeint apparent. Sous réserve de ce qui précède, selon notre opinion, l’œuvre est en bon état général de conservation.

This work is sold without a frame. The work is not lined. The canvas undulates very slightly and presents very slight stretcher marks along the periphery. A few hairline drying cracks are in places along the extreme edges and to the lower part of the composition, only visible under raking light. A point of dent from the front is visible to the upper left quadrant. A few pinpoint accretions are in places to the surface, only visible under raking light. Examined under UV light: no visible inpainting. Subject to the foregoing, it is our view that the work appears to be in overall good condition.
