The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

L’œuvre est sur sa toile d’origine. La surface est très légèrement poussiéreuse. Quelques traces de frottement, pour certaines associées à de minuscules manques de matière, sont visibles par endroits, principalement à la périphérie de l’œuvre. Quelques accrétions et tâches brillantes sont visibles par endroits sur la surface. Examinée à la lumière UV: pas de repeint apparent. Sous réserve de ce qui précède, selon notre opinion, l’œuvre est en bon état général de conservation.

The work is not lined. The surface is very slightly dusty. Some rubbing, for some associated to tiny pinpoint paint losses, are visible in places, mostly to the periphery of the work. A few accretions and shiny spots are visible in places to the surface. Examined under UV light: no visible inpainting. Subject to the foregoing, it is our view that the work appears to be in overall good condition.
