The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

L'œuvre est sur sa toile d'origine. La surface est très légèrement poussiéreuse. Quelques points d'accrétion et très légères traces de frottement sont visibles par endroits sur la surface. Un petit enfoncement est visible dans un élément noir dans le quart inférieur droit. Examinée à la lumière UV: pas de repeint apparent. Sous réserve de ce qui précède, selon notre opinion, l’œuvre est en bon état général de conservation.

The work is not lined. The surface is very slightly dusty. A few pinpoint accretions and minor rubbing are visible in places to the surface. A small dent is visible to a black element to the lower right quadrant. Examined under UV light: no visible inpainting. Subject to the foregoing, it is our view that the work appears to be in overall good condition.
