The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
Cette œuvre est vendue encadrée. La feuille est fixée au revers à un support cartonné par des charnières le long des bords. La feuille présente une légère ondulation. Quelques fines craquelures, pour certaines associées à des petits manques de matière, et quelques points d'accrétion sont visibles par endroits sur la surface. Les irrégularités de surface sont inhérentes à la méthode de travail de l'artiste. Sous réserve de ce qui précède, selon notre opinion, l’œuvre est en bon état général de conservation.
This work is sold framed. The sheet is hinged on the reverse to a cardboard support along the edges. The sheet undulates slightly. A few fine cracks, for some associated with small paint losses, and a few pinpoint accretions, are visible in places to the surface. The irregularities to the surface are inherent to the artist's working method. Subject to the foregoing, it is our view that the work appears to be in overall good condition.
