The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Quelques légères traces de frottement, légers lustrages, fines griffures superficielles et petits points d’accrétion sont visibles par endroits sur la surface. Présence de quelques légères traces de manipulation, principalement à la périphérie de l’œuvre. Examinée à la lumière UV: pas de repeint apparent. Sous réserve de ce qui précède, selon notre opinion, l’œuvre est en bon état général de conservation.

This work is not lined. The surface is very slightly dusty. Minor rubbing, slight lustring, thin superficial scratches, and small pinpoint accretions are visible in places to the surface. There are some faint handling marks mostly to the periphery of the work. Examined under UV light: no visible inpainting. Subject to the foregoing, it is our view that the work appears to be in overall good condition.
