The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
L'œuvre est vendue encadrée. L’œuvre est sur sa toile d’origine. La surface est légèrement encrassée et poussiéreuse. Présence de quelques accrétions par endroits et résidus de colle par endroits sur la surface. Les irrégularités de surface sont inhérentes à la méthode de travail de l’artiste. Examinée à la lumière UV: pas de repeint apparent. Sous réserve de ce qui précède, selon notre opinion, l’œuvre est en bon état général de conservation.
The work is sold framed. The work is not lined. The work is slightly dirty and dusty. The surface presents few accretions and glue residues in places. The irregularities to the surface are inherent to the artist’s working method. Examined under UV light: no visible inpainting. Subject to the foregoing, it is our view that the work appears to be in overall good condition.
