The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
Pastel on paper. The reverse of the sheet is attached along the edges to a card. The lower edge slightly uneven. Some mat- and light-staining with associated spots of foxing throughout. Two further lines of staining towards the upper right corner. Two small tears at the centre of the extreme right edge.
Pastel sur papier. Le revers de la feuille est attaché le long des bords à un papier fort. Le bord inférieur est légèrement irrégulier. Brunissement de la feuille dû au montage le long des bords. Insolation de la feuille associée à des piqures sur l’ensemble de la composition. Deux autres lignes de taches vers le coin supérieur droit. Deux petites déchirures au centre de l’extrémité du bord droit.
