Saint Snow White

The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

L'œuvre est sur sa toile d'origine. La surface est légèrement encrassée et poussiéreuse. Quelques légères traces de manipulation sont visibles par endroits et sont probabelement de l’artiste. Quelques petits écaillages mineurs et petits manques de matière sont visibles dans la composition. Quelques petites griffures sont visibles par endroits sur la surface. Un léger frottement est visible au dessus du 'T' de 'Saint'. Examinée à la lumière UV: pas de repeint apparent. Sous réserve de ce qui précède, selon notre opinion, l’œuvre est en bon état général de conservation.

The work is not lined. The surface is slightly dirty and dusty. There are some faint handling marks in places and presumably by the artist. There are a few minor flaking areas and a few small losses in places to the composition. Some fine scratches are to the surface in places. There is some minor rubbing above the 'T' of 'Saint'. Examined under UV light: no visible inpainting. Subject to the foregoing, it is our view that the work appears to be in overall good condition.
