The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Cette œuvre est vendue encadrée. L’œuvre est fixée au revers à un support cartonné par des points de colle. La feuille présente une légère ondulation. Les angles présentent de très légères usures. Quelques très petites accrétions superficielles sont visibles par endroits sur la surface. Quelques très légères zones d’écaillage sont visibles dans certains empâtements d’encre. Sous réserve de ce qui précède, selon notre opinion, l’œuvre est en bon état général de conservation.

This work is sold framed. The work is hinged on the reverse to a cardboard support with points of glue. The sheet undulates slightly. Corners present very slight wears. A few very fine superficial accretions are visible in places to the surface. A few very fine areas of flaking are to some ink impasto. Subject to the foregoing, it is our view that this work appears to be in overall good condition.
