The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Cette œuvre est vendue encadrée. L’œuvre est fixée au revers à un support cartonné par des points de colle. La feuille présente une légère ondulation. Les angles présentent de très légères usures. Quelques très petites accrétions superficielles sont visibles par endroits sur la surface. Quelques très légères craquelures de séchage sont visibles dans un empâtement noir, au centre vers la partie inférieure. Sous réserve de ce qui précède, selon notre opinion, l’œuvre est en bon état général de conservation.

This work is sold framed. The work is hinged on the reverse to a cardboard support with points of glue. The sheet undulates slightly. Corners present very slight wears. A few very small superficial accretions are visible in places to the surface. A few very fine drying cracks are visible to a black impasto to the center, toward the lower part. Subject to the foregoing, it is our view that this work appears to be in overall good condition.
