The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Cette œuvre est vendue encadrée. L’œuvre est sur sa toile d’origine. Un papier de bordage court le long des bords. La surface est très légèrement poussiéreuse et présente quelques très petits points d’accrétions par endroits. Le bord gauche présente une très légère ondulation. Deux légèrs résidus de ruban adhésif et de frottement sont visibles le long du bord inférieur. Examinée à la lumière UV: pas de repeint apparent. Sous réserve de ce qui précède, selon notre opinion, l’œuvre est en bon état général de conservation.

The work is sold framed. The work is not lined. A framing paper strip is along the turnover edges. The surface is very slightly dusty and presents few pinpoint accretions in places. The left edge undulates very slightly. A small tape residue and some minor rubbing are visible along the lower edge. Examined under UV light: no visible inpainting. Subject to the foregoing, it is our view that the work appears to be in overall good condition.
