The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Cette œuvre est vendue encadrée. L'œuvre est sur sa toile d’origine. L’œuvre présente une légere ondulation, principalement dans les angles. La surface est très légèrement poussiéreuse. L'angle inférieur gauche présente une légère usure et une très légère déformation du châssis. De légères traces de frottement et de manipulation sont visibles par endroits principalement en périphérie de l’œuvre. Un point de manque de matière est dans le quart supérieur gauche, uniquement visible en lumière rasante. Examinée à la lumière UV: quelques fines zones de repeint sont visibles dans les quarts inférieurs gauche et droit et le long du bord supérieur, vers la partie droite. Sous réserve de ce qui précède, selon notre opinion, l'œuvre est en bon état général de conservation.

This work is sold framed. The work is not lined. The work undulates slightly, mostly to the corners. The surface is very slightly dusty. The lower left corner presents a very slight wear and a slight deformation of the stretcher. Minor rubbing and handling marks are visible in places mostly to the periphery of the work. A point of paint loss is to the upper left quadrant, only visible under racking light. Examined under UV: a few small areas of inpainting are visible to the lower left and right quadrants and along the upper edge, towards the right part. Subject to the foregoing, it is our view that the work appears to be in overall good condition.
