The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Une trace de frottement est visible vers la pointe du bateau dans la partie droite. Quelques très fines bulles de séchage sont visibles dans certains empatements. Examinée à la lumière UV: pas de repeint apparent. Sous réserve de ce qui précède, selon notre opinion, l’œuvre est en bon état général de conservation.

This work is sold unframed. The work is not lined. The surface presents some small accretions in places. Some minor rubbing is visible towards the tip of the boat to the right part. There are a few small drying bubbles visible in some impastos. Examined under UV light: no visible inpainting. Subject to the foregoing, it is our view that the work appears to be in overall good condition.
