The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Cette œuvre est vendue sans cadre. Un tissu de bordage noir court le long des bords. Quelques très légères accrétions superficielles sont visibles par endroits sur la surface. Deux très légères traces de frottement sont visibles le long du bord gauche. Examinée à la lumière UV: pas de repeint apparent. Sous réserve de ce qui précède, selon notre opinion, l’œuvre est en bon état général de conservation.

This work is sold without a frame. A black framing paper runs along the edges. A few very slight superficial accretions are visible in places to the surface. Two minor rubbing are visible to the left edge. Examined under UV light: no visible inpainting. Subject to the foregoing, it is our view that the work appears to be in overall good condition.
