The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Cette œuvre est vendue encadrée. L'œuvre est sur sa toile d’origine. Un tissu de bordage noir court le long des bords. Présence de très petits points d’accrétion par endroits sur la surface. Quelques très petites bulles de séchage sont visibles dans certains empâtements. Une légère trace de frottement est visible le long du bord inférieur au centre. Examinée à la lumière UV: pas de repeint apparent. Sous réserve de ce qui précède, selon notre opinion, l’œuvre est en bon état général de conservation.

This work is sold framed. The work is not lined. A black framing strip is along the turnover edges. There are small pinpoint accretions in places to the surface. A few very small drying bubbles are visible in some impastos. Some minor rubbing is visible along the lower edge to the center. Examined under UV light: no visible inpainting. Subject to the foregoing, it is our view that the work appears to be in overall good condition.
