The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

La structure de l’œuvre est en bonne condition. Quelques légères traces de frottement sont visibles, principalement à la périphérie de l'œuvre. Quelques accrétions sont visibles par endroits. Les angles inférieurs présentent de légères usures. Un point de manque de matière est visible le long du bord gauche dans la partie inférieure. Les petites irrégularités de surface telles que les minuscucles points d'enfoncement sont inhérentes au panneau choisi par l'artiste. Examinée à la lumière UV: présence de petits traits de retouches ponctuelles par endroits sur la surface. Sous réserve de ce qui précède, selon notre opinion, l’œuvre est en bon état général de conservation.

The work is structurally sound. Minor rubbing is visible, mostly to the periphery of the work. A few accretions are visible in places. The lower corners present slight wears. A point of paint loss is visible along the left edge to the lower part. The small irregularities to the surface such as the minute points of dent are inherent to the panel chosen by the artist. Examined under UV light: there are hairline punctual retouching points in places to the surface. Subject to the foregoing, it is our view that the work appears to be in overall good condition.
