The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Cette oeuvre est vendue encadrée. La feuille est fixée au revers à un support cartonné par endroits le long des bords. La feuille a légèrement jauni. Le bord gauche est irrégulier et présente quelques petites déchirures et petits manques du papier par endroits. Quelques traces de froissement et fines cassures du papier sont visibles par endroits sur la surface et le long des bords. Les légères traces de manipulation semblent inhérentes à la méthode de travail de l’artiste. Une fine trace de pliure horizontale est visible dans la partie inférieure. Des trous de punaise de l’artiste sont dans les angles. Quelques points d’accrétion sont visibles par endroits sur la surface. Sous réserve de ce qui précède, selon notre opinion, l'oeuvre est en bon état général de conservation.

This work is sold framed. The sheet is hinged on the reverse to a cardboard support along the edges. The sheet has slightly yellowed. The left edge is deckled and presents a few small tears and minor paper losses in places. A few creases are in places and along the edges. The handling marks are presumably inherent to the artist's process. A thin horizontal folding mark is along the lower part. There are pin holes by the artist to the corners. A few pinpoint accretions are in places. Subject to the foregoing, it is our view that the work appears to be in overall good condition.
