The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

L'œuvre est sur sa toile d’origine et la toile est légèrement détendue. Un tissu de bordage court le long des bords. Quelques légères traces de frottement sont visibles par endroits le long des bords. Quelques petits points d’accrétions sont visibles par endroits sur la surface. Examinée à la lumière UV: pas de repeint apparent. Sous réserve de ce qui précède, selon notre opinion, l'œuvre est en bon état général de conservation.

The work is not lined and the canvas is slightly loose. A fabric tape is along the turnover edges. There is some minor rubbing in places along the edge. There are a few small pinpoint accretions in places to the surface. Examined under UV light: no visible inpainting. Subject to the foregoing, it is our view that the work appears to be in overall good condition.
