The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

La feuille est libre a très légèrement jauni. La feuille présente une très légère ondulation. Les bord présentent une légère décoloration probablement dûe à un ancien encadrement. Le bord droit et le bord inférieur présentent une légère irregularité et quelques petits accrocs de papier. Quelques petits points d’accrétion sont visibles par endroits sur la surface. Sous réserve de ce qui précède, selon notre opinion l’œuvre est en bon état générale de conservation.

The sheet is free and has very slightly yellowed. The sheet undulates slightly. The edges are slightly discoloured, presumably due to a former frame. The right and lower edges are slightly deckled and present tiny snags in places. There are pinpoint accretions to the surface in places. Subject to the foregoing, it is our view that the work appears to be in overall good condition.
