The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Cette œuvre est vendue encadrée. La feuille est fixée au revers à un support cartonné. Les bords supérieur et droit sont très légérement irréguliers. La feuille a légèrement jauni et présente une très légère ondulation. Quelques très légères accrétions sont visibles par endroits sur la surface. Quelques très légères zones d’écaillage sont par endroits dans certains empâtements d’encre, uniquement visibles en lumière rasante. Deux très légères traces de frottement sont visibles vers le bord droit. Sous réserve de ce qui précède, selon notre opinion, l’œuvre est en bon état général de conservation.

This work is sold framed. The sheet is hinged on the reverse to a cardboard support. The upper and right edges are very slightly irregular. The sheet has slightly yellowed and undulates very slightly. A few very slight accretions are visible in places to the surface. There are some areas of flaking in places to some ink impastos, only visible under racking light. Two minor rubbing are visible towards the right edge. Subject to the foregoing, it is our view that the work appears to be in overall good condition.
