The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Cette œuvre est vendue encadrée. La feuille est fixée au revers à un support cartonné. Les bords inférieur et supérieur sont irréguliers. La feuille a légèrement jauni. Le bord inférieur présente quelques très légères déchirures. Quelques très légères piqûres sont visibles par endroits sur la surface. Quelques très petites accrétions sont visibles le long du bord droit. Sous réserve de ce qui précède, selon notre opinion, l’œuvre est en bon état général de conservation.

This work is sold framed. The sheet is fixed on the reverse to a cardboard support. The lower and upper edges are irregular. The sheet has slightly yellowed. The lower edge presents a few very slight tears. A few very slight spots of foxing are visible in places to the surface. A few very small accretions are visible along the right edge. Subject to the foregoing, it is our view that the work appears to be in overall good condition.
