The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

L'œuvre est sur sa toile d'origine. La surface est très légèrement poussiéreuse. De très fines traces de frottement sont visibles par endroits le long des bords. Présence de très petites usures dans certains angles. Quelques points d'accrétion sont visibles par endroits sur la surface. Examinée à la lumière UV: pas de repeint apparent. Sous réserve de ce qui précède, selon notre opinion, l’œuvre est en bon état général de conservation.

The work is not lined. The surface is very slightly dusty. There is some very minor rubbing in places along the edges. There are tiny wears to some of the corners. There are some small pinpoint accretions to the surface in places. Examined under UV light: no visible inpainting. Subject to the foregoing, it is our view that the work appears to be in overall good condition.
