The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

L’œuvre est sur sa toile d’origine. La toile est légèrement détendue. Quelques légères traces de frottement sont visibles par endroits le long des bords. Très petit enfoncement par l’arrière est visible devant en lumière rasante à gauche de l’immeuble le long du bord supérieur. Une fine griffure est visible dans le quart supérieur droit. Examinée à lumière UV: pas de repeint apparent. Sous réserve de ce qui précède, selon notre opinion, l'œuvre est en bon état général de conservation.

The work is not lined. The canvas is slightly loose. There is some minor rubbing in places along the edges. A small dent from the reverse is visible under racking light to the front, on the building's left. There is a fine scratch to the upper right quadrant. Examined under UV light: no visible inpainting. Subject to the foregoing, it is our view that the work appears to be in overall good condition.
