The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
L'oeuvre est sur sa toile d'origine. La surface est légèrement encrassée et poussiéreuse. Quelques légères traces de frottement sont visibles par endroits le long des bords. Quelques traces de manipulations sont visibles dans les blancs à la périphérie de l'oeuvre. Examinée à la lumière UV: pas de repeint apparent. Sous réserve de ce qui précède, selon notre opinion, l’œuvre est en bon état général de conservation.
The work is not lined. The surface is slightly dirty and dusty. There is some minor rubbing to the edges. Some faint handling marks are apparent especially towards the white section around the work. Examined under UV light: no visible inpainting. Subject to the foregoing, it is our view that the work appears to be in overall good condition.
