The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

L'œuvre est sur sa toile d'origine. La surface est très légèrement encrassée et poussiéreuse. Quelques légères traces de frottement sont visibles par endroits le long des bords. Des fines craquelures de séchage sont visibles en lumière rasante autour des cercles et à la périphérie de l'œuvre. Examinée à la lumière UV: pas de repeint apparent. Sous réserve de ce qui précède, selon notre opinion, l’œuvre est en bon état général de conservation.

The work is not lined. The surface is very slightly dirty and dusty. There is some minor rubbing along the edges. There are hairline drying cracks in places around the circles and to the work's margins, only visible under close inspection. Examined under UV light: no visible inpainting. Subject to the foregoing, it is our view that the work appears to be in overall good condition.
