The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Pen, ink and wax crayon on paper. The reverse of the sheet is taped along the upper edge to a support. The left edge slightly uneven possibly consistent with removing the sheet for the artist's sketchbook. Some pale light-staining with a very few associated minute spots of foxing in places. Wax crayon is strong throughout. Subject to the foregoing, it is our opinion that this work appears to be in generally good condition.

Plume, encre et crayon gras sur papier. Le revers de la feuille est maintenu par du ruban adhésif le long du bord supérieur à un support. Le bord gauche est légèrement irrégulier, probablement dû au fait que la feuille ait été retirée du carnet à dessin de l’artiste. Légère insolation de la feuille associée à de minuscules piqures par endroits. Le crayon gras et vif sur l’ensemble de la composition. Sous réserve de ce qui précède et selon notre opinion, cette œuvre apparait en bonne condition générale.
