The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

L’œuvre est sur sa toile d’origine. Un tissu de bordage noir court le long des bords. La surface est légèrement encrassée et poussiéreuse. Des points d’accrétion sont visibles par endroits sur la surface et de tout petits points de transferts de matière sont visible dans les parties grises. Examinée à la lumière UV: pas de repeint apparent. Sous réserve de ce qui précède, selon notre opinion, l’œuvre est en bon état général de conversation.

The work is not lined. A black fabric strip is along the turnover edges. The surface is slightly dirty and dusty. Pinpoint accretions are visible in places to the surface and very small points of medium transfers points are visible in the grey areas. Examined under UV light: no visible inpainting. Subject to the foregoing, it is our view that the work appears to be in overall good condition.
