The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Quelques accrétions sont par endroits sur la surface. Les irrégularités de surface telles que les traces de pliures et ondulation des collages, sont inhérentes à la méthode de travail de l’artiste. Examinée à la lumière UV: pas de repeint apparent. Sous réserve de ce qui précède, selon notre opinion, l’œuvre est en bon état général de conservation.

This work is sold framed. The work is not lined. The canvas is very slightly loose and undulates very slightly, inherently to the artist’s working method. A few accretions are in places to the surface. The irregularities to the surface such as the folding marks and undulations of the collages, are inherent to the artist’s working method. Examined under UV light: no visible inpainting. Subject to the foregoing, it is our view that the work appears to be in overall good condition.
