The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Cette œuvre vendue encadrée. L’œuvre est sur sa toile d’origine. Un tissu adhésif de bordage noir court le long des bords. Quelques petits points d’accrétion sont par endroits sur la surface, dont un plus visible dans le quart inférieur droit. Deux très légères traces de frottement sont visibles vers l’angle supérieur gauche et vers le bord droit, dans la partie supérieure. Un très petit trou est le long de l’arrête inférieure, vers le centre. Examinée à la lumière UV: pas de repeint apparent. Sous réserve de ce qui précède, selon notre opinion, l’œuvre est en bon état général de conservation.

This work is sold framed. The work is not lined. A black adhesive fabric is along the turnover edges. A few small pinpoint accretions are in places to the surface, for one mostly visible to the lower right quadrant. Two minor rubbings are visible to the upper left corner and towards the right edge, to the upper part. A very small hole is along the lower extreme edge, towards the center. Examined under UV light: no visible inpainting. Subject to the foregoing, it is our view that the work appears to be in overall good condition.
