The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Les trous sur les tranches du cadre d'artiste blanc sont dus à un ancien encadrement. Les quelques légères irrégularités des cartons découpés et résidus de colle sont inhérents à la méthode de travail de l'artiste. L’angle supérieur gauche du cadre d’artiste présente une usure associée à un manque. Quelques très légères craquelures, traces de frottement et usures associés à des points de manque sont visibles par endroits le long des bords du cadre d’artiste. Examinée à la lumière UV: présence d’un repeint dans l’angle supérieur gauche du cadre d’artiste correspondant à l’usure et au manque. Sous réserve de ce qui précède, selon notre opinion, l’œuvre est en bon état général de conservation.

All elements appear to be present. The work is structurally sound. The surface is very slightly dusty. The holes to the turnover edges of the white artist’s frame are due to a former frame. The few slight irregularities to the cut cardboards and the glue residues are inherent to the artist’s working method. The upper left corner of the artist’s frame presents a wear accompanied with a paint loss. A few very thin cracks, rubbings and wears associated to paint losses are visible in places along the edges of the artist’s frame. Examined under UV light: there is an inpainting to the upper left corner of the artist’s frame, corresponding to the wear and paint loss. Subject to the foregoing, it is our view that the work appears to be in overall good condition.
