The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Cette œuvre est vendue encadrée. L’œuvre est fixée au revers à un panneau par des clous fins le long des bords. La surface est très légèrement poussiéreuse, principalement dans les recoins. Présence de fines craquelures de séchage par endroits sur la surface, certaines le long des bords sont accompagnées de petits manques de matière. Présence d'une fine craquelure légèrement soulevée en bas de la tranche droite. Examinée à la lumière UV: pas de repeint apparent. Sous réserve de ce qui précède, selon notre opinion, l’œuvre est en bon état général de conservation.

This work is sold framed. The work is fixed on the reverse to a panel with tiny nails along the edges. The surface is very slightly dusty, mostly to the recesses. There are thin drying cracks in places to the surface, some of which along the edges, are accompanied with small paint losses. There is a thin slightly lifted crack to the lower right turnover edge. Examined under UV light: no visible inpainting. Subject to the foregoing, it is our view that the work appears to be in overall good condition.
