The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Cette œuvre est vendue encadrée. Non examinée hors du cadre. Un ruban adhésif de bordage noir court le long des bords. La surface est légèrement encrassée et poussiéreuse. Les bords sont irréguliers et présentent quelques accrocs et points de manque de matière inhérents à la méthode de travail de l’artiste. Présence de quelques fines craquelures de séchage stables par endroits sur la surface. Sous réserve de ce qui précède, selon notre opinion, l’œuvre est en bon état général de conservation.

This work is sold framed. Not examined out of the frame. A black adhesive paper is along the overlap edges. The surface is slightly dusty and dirty. The edges are irregular and present a few snags and medium losses, inherently to the artist’s working method. There are a few thin stable drying cracks in places to the surface. Subject to the foregoing, it is our view that the work appears to be in overall good condition.
