The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Présence de légères traces de frottement ainsi une très légère cassure du bois et un petit point d’enfoncement dans le quart inférieur droit. Quelques très légères zones d’écaillage, inhérentes au support choisi par l’artiste, sont visibles par endroits sur la surface. Examinée à la lumière UV: pas de repeint apparent. Sous réserve de ce qui précède, selon notre opinion, l’œuvre est en bon état général de conservation.

All elements appear to be present. The work is structurally sound. The surface is very slightly dusty. There are pinpoint accretions in places to the surface and minor rubbing, a slight wood crease and a small dent to the lower right quadrant. Some minor flaking areas, inherent to the artist’s chosen support, are visible in places to the surface. Examined under UV light: no visible inpainting. Subject to the foregoing, it is our view that the work appears to be in overall good condition.
