The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Cette œuvre est vendue encadrée. La feuille est fixée en plein au revers à un support cartonné. La feuille a légèrement jauni. Présence de très légers accrocs, très petites déchirures et fines froissures par endroits long des bords. Présence de quelques traces de manipulation, probablement de l'artiste, ainsi que quelques points d'accrétion par endroits en périphérie du portrait. Sous réserve de ce qui précède, selon notre opinion, l’œuvre est en bon état général de conservation.

This work is sold framed. The sheet is fixed on the reverse on a cardboard support. The sheet has slightly yellowed. There are very slight dents, very small tears and slight creases in places along the edges. There are a few handling marks, probably by the artist, and a few pinpoint accretions in places to the periphery of the portrait. Subject to the foregoing, it is our view that the work appears to be in overall good condition.
