The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Cette œuvre est vendue encadrée. La feuille est fixée au revers à un support cartonné par du ruban adhésif le long bord supérieur et dans angles. La feuille a légèrement jauni. Présence de trous de punaise de l'artiste dans les angles et au centre des bords latéraux, pour certains associés à des accrocs du papier et fines déchirures, dans les angles droits. Une très fine déchirure et un petit accroc du papier sont visibles long du bord inférieur. Quelques froissures du papier sont par endroits sur la surface, principalement le long des bords. Quelques craquelures de séchage sont visibles par endroits dans certains empâtements jaunes, pour certains accompagnés de points de manque de matière, uniquement visibles en lumière rasante. Examinée à la lumière UV: pas de repeint apparent. Sous réserve de ce qui précède, selon notre opinion, l’œuvre est en bon état général de conservation.

This work is sold framed. The sheet is hinged on the reverse to a cardboard support with adhesive paper along the upper edge and to the corners. The sheet has slightly yellowed. There are pin holes by the artist to the corners and to the center of the lateral edges, for some associated with paper snags and thin tears, to the right corners. A very thin tear and small paper snag are visible along the lower edge. A few paper creases are in places to the surface, mostly to the edges. A few drying cracks are visible in a few yellow impastos, for some accompanied with points of paint losses, only visible under raking light. Examined under UV light: no visible inpainting. Subject to the foregoing, it is our view that the work appears to be in overall good condition.
