The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Sous réserve de ce qui précède, selon notre opinion, l’œuvre est en bon état général de conservation.

These works are sold without frames. Minor handling marks and minor rubbing are visible in places along the edges. There are a few superficial accretions in places to the surfaces. A lustring, only visible under UV light, is visible to the center of a panel. The few slight irregularities to the surface, such as the small dents are inherent to the artist’s chosen support. Examined under UV light: no visible inpainting. Subject to the foregoing, it is our view that the work appears to be in overall good condition.
