The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Cette œuvre est vendue sans cadre. L’œuvre est sur sa toile d’origine. Présence de points d’accrétion et poussières superficielles par endroits sur la surface. Quelques traces de frottement sont dans l’angle supérieur droit; d’autres très légères et uniquement visibles en lumière rasante sont par endroits le long des bords. Examinée à la lumière UV: pas de repeint apparent. Sous réserve de ce qui précède, selon notre opinion, l’œuvre est en bon état général de conservation.

This work is sold without a frame. The work is not lined. There are points of accretions and superficial dust in places to the surface. A few rubbing are to the upper right corner; others, very minor, are in places along the edges, only visible under raking light. Examined under UV light: no visible inpainting. Subject to the foregoing, it is our view that the work appears to be in overall good condition.
