The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Cette œuvre est vendue sans cadre. Tous les éléments semblent être présents. La structure de l'œuvre est en bonne condition. La surface est très légèrement poussiéreuse. Quelques très légers lustrages, inhérents au support choisi par l’artiste, sont par endroits sur la surface. Une fine griffure est visible dans la partie gauche, vers le centre; une autre, très fine, est dans le quart supérieur gauche. Présence d'un petit manque de matière dans une partie noire du quart inférieur gauche. Examinée à la lumière UV: pas de repeint apparent. Sous réserve de ce qui précède, selon notre opinion, l’œuvre est en bon état général de conservation.

This work is sold without a frame. All elements appear to be present. The work is structurally sound. The surface is very slightly dusty. A few very minor lustring, inherent to the artist’s chosen support, are in places to the surface. A thin scratch is visible to the left part, to the center; another, very thin, is to the upper left quadrant. There is a small medium loss to a black part, to the lower left quadrant. Examined under UV light: no visible inpainting. Subject to the foregoing, it is our view that the work appears to be in overall good condition.
