The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Oil on Masonite. A very few small nicks with associated minute paint losses in places along the extreme edges (the biggest one in the left part of the upper edge). Some pale surface dirt with a very few stains in places. One small horizontal line of surface abrasion along the lower edge probably dating from the artist studio. Examined under ultra-violet light: no apparent retouching. Subject to the foregoing, it is our opinion that this work appears to be in generally very good condition.

Huile sur Isorel. De très rares et petites encoches associées à de minuscules manques de peinture par endroits le long de l’extrémité des bords (le plus grand dans la partie gauche du bord supérieur). Légère salissure de surface avec de très rares taches par endroits. Une petite ligne horizontale d’abrasion de la surface le long du bord inférieur, datant probablement de l’atelierde l’artiste. Examiné à la lampe à ultra-violets: aucune retouche apparente. Sous réserve de ce qui précède et selon notre opinion, cette œuvre apparaît en très bonne condition générale.
