The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Gouache on card. The reverse of the card is taped along the upper edge to a support. Some pale light staining. A very few potential small water stains in places mainly in the lower left part of the sky, most probably inherent to the artist’s watery technique. On the reverse: some brown tape remnants along the four edges. Medium is strong throughout. Subject to the foregoing, it is our opinion that this work appears to be in generally very good condition.

Gouache sur papier fort. Le revers du papier fort est maintenu par du papier adhésif le long du bord supérieur à un support. Légère insolation de la feuille. De très rares potentielles petites tâches d’eau par endroits, principalement vers la partie inférieure gauche du ciel, très probablement inhérentes à la technique aqueuse de l’artiste. Au revers : quelques résidus d’adhésif marron le long des quatre bords. Le médium est vif sur l’ensemble de la composition. Sous réserve de ce qui précède et selon notre opinion, cette œuvre apparait en très bonne condition générale.
