The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Oil on Masonite. Varnished. Some small areas of skinning at the tips of the corners. A very few minute small Masonite losses in places along the extreme edges and a further one at the right of the figure’s head. A further small one in the water. Examined under ultraviolet light: no apparent retouching. Subject to the foregoing it is or opinion that this work appears to be in generally good condition.

Huile sur Isorel. L’œuvre est vernie. Quelques petites zones d’épidermure aux extrémités des coins. De très rares minuscules pertes d’Isorel par endroits le long de l’extrémité des bords et une autre petite à droite de la tête du modèle. Une autre petite dans l’eau. Examiné à la lampe à ultraviolets : aucune retouche apparente. Sous réserve de ce qui précède et selon notre opinion, cette œuvre apparait en bonne condition générale.
