The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Gouache on paper mounted on board. The edges are slightly uneven. The artist’s tack holes towards each corners and one further one at the centre of the upper edge. A very few pale water stains in the lower part of the composition inherent to the artist's technique. Some pale light staining. Medium is strong and fresh throughout. Subject to the foregoing, it is our opinion that this work appears to be in generally good condition.

Gouache sur papier monté sur carton. Les bords sont légèrement irréguliers. Les trous de punaise faits par l’artiste vers chaque coin et un autre au centre du bord supérieur. De très rares et discrètes taches d’eau dans la partie inférieure de la composition, inhérentes à la technique de l’artiste. Légère insolation de la feuille. Le médium est vif et frais sur l’ensemble de la composition. Sous réserve de ce qui précède et selon notre opinion, cette œuvre apparaît en bonne condition générale.
